Beth and her staff catered our mini wedding reception this summer. Not only was she lovely to work with, but the food was amazing! Guests kept telling us how fabulous their meals were. She was accommodating of all dietary restrictions. It is hard to get great food for weddings, let alone in the middle of the woods!

We loved the cozy, comfortable, and clean atmosphere. The food was delicious. We had the Naan pizza appetizer, roast pork with brandied apples, and the rice bowl. We paired it with cider. It was wonderful. The owner was friendly and very pleasant and visited each table. We really enjoyed our 38th anniversary. Thanks for the wonderful night.

The Little Fox is a cozy, welcoming, woodsy gathering place to have a drink or a enjoy a tasty meal. The owner and staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to make sure you have an enjoyable experience. I really enjoyed the fish fry, fried cheese curd, and homemade peanut butter pie with their own homemade icecream. I'm looking forward to visiting again soon to try some of their other delicious sounding menu items. I was glad to return and experience more what The Little Fox had to offer. Best fried perch I’ve tried. The chopped cob salad was so good I’m already dreaming about going back! We had the fried pickles with the homemade dipping sauce (delicious) for an appetizer, but there were so many other interesting sounding appetizers that it was a hard choice. Rounded out with a piece of mint chocolate Oreo-crusted pie (did I mention they make their own desserts too?). Perfection.

Came here with my dad last night, and I have to say this is my favorite dining experience hands down. We sat at the bar, talking with the bartender, owner, and another woman having dinner all night! The Little Fox Restaurant has a warm and welcoming feeling to it— one that wraps its arms around you. We ordered a crab egg roll (to die for), and I ordered the curried shrimp with rice (11/10) so so good. My dad ordered the salmon; and, desert was the homemade strawberry ice cream which we took to go!! So incredible, I recommend to anyone in the area.

My first time here! What a little gem near Big Moose Lake! Excellent service and the food was wonderful!!! I had the curry & Mom had Caesar salad with chicken. Thanks you Liz and Beth!! Nice to meet you both!! I can't wait to return. **We went back 3 days later!! Had the same entrees!! A again! **And a 3rd time in a week!! This time I tried Love You Long Time (very good but I preferred the curry - personal preference only). Mom had the ratatouille - also excellent!! And we shared the fries..loved the seasoning...fries seemed fresh cut.

Finally stopped at the Little Fox. I always wanted to stop, but the days activities never allowed the visit. Today afforded the opportunity. I felt bad now after the visit, that we didn't stop the last few years. Great place in Big Moose to have a drink and eat delicious food! As well, which cannot be ignored, the hospitality! Jonny and Beth were very pleasant and picked your vibe right away. Very knowledgeable about the area and passionate about the food they serve. I had the bowl of New England clam chowder, which was most likely the best I ever had. Ask about the pickled eggs and wash it down with an Uncle Charlie. Their menu is by far the best in the OF-EB-BM area. Ask what's cooking, and they will tell you. Definitely don't make the mistake I did by not stopping sooner.
